Eternal Life--NOT Jesus "almost" Saves!

Eternal Life: NOT Jesus Almost Saves!

"It is finished." --John 19:30

Remember that hymn, "Jesus Saves!"? It does not say "Jesus Almost Saves", now, does it?

I know that there are those Pharisees and Judaizers that bleat out the heresy that God-made-flesh was im-perfect, only partially-able to "finish" the work that the Father sent Him to earth to perform; they spew that Jesus was such a poor excuse for a God-given sacrifice that we, as sinful humans, have to step in and do that which God-Himself could not do!

While on the cross, right before He died (His flesh, not His Spirit, of course), Jesus said, "It is finished." He did NOT say, "I almost got it done." or "I got 90% of your salvation finished, but you have to finish the last 10% of your salvation, because I just was not good enough nor powerful enough."

Scripture does NOT call Jesus our Lord and "90%-Saviour" or our "almost-good-enough-Saviour" or our "half-good-enough-Saviour"!

Jesus is the only begotten Son of God (I am an adopted son of God) and He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died as the perfect sacrifice so that we all could be forgiven for our sins, and thus, be saved, or, born again! Period.

Next, when I update this posting, I will add verse after verse, argument after argument, right from Scripture, and you can take up your heresy with Almighty God, or, in your perversion of religion, your "almost good enough god".
